Our Team
Mr Tlhako Sekopo
Mr Tlhako Sekopo is the founder and Managing Director of Hapcore Technologies. He is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry having worked for major network operators or communications providers in Botswana.
He studied at both Cable and Wireless College in the United Kingdom and University of Botswana, and also an alumni of Stellenbosch Business School (Management Development Program).
He has held engineering, leadership and managerial positions working for some of the major communications providers in Botswana, such as BTCL, Mascom and BoFiNet. He has also led multi-disciplinary business units and teams of professionals; IT, Packet Networks, Passive Network Infrastructure Specialists, Power and Energy Systems and both Wireless Networks Specialists from Operations, Planning and Projects Implementation functions.
He is experienced in strategy development and execution within the ICT sector. He has had impact in the development and operations of some of the major communications infrastructure networks assets nationally and internationally (national networks, international transit connectivity and submarine cables systems).
Tlhako is an entrepreneur who believes in the power of collaborative effort, focused on progressive leadership and open-mindedness to turning challenges to opportunities, and he is committed to the development of ICT infrastructure and related services to power economic and social development.
Gobitsa C. Mmereki
Mr. Gobitsa Mmereki is the Commercial Director at Hapcore. He is a seasoned commercial professional. He possesses management level skills in the areas of sales, business development and relationship management in the ICT/Telco environment in Botswana having worked for the likes of BTCL and BoFiNet. His commercial experience extends beyond the borders of Telco sector, and it includes hospitality, finance and public enterprise management.
Gobitsa brings a wealth of opportunities and possibilities to Hapcore partners and clients; always finding solutions through deliberate commitment to continuous open communication to realise that value addition. He is an avid technology enthusiast and believes in the application of technology to day-to-day challenges, realization of digital transformation to enhance the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Tshenolo Nkwe
Mr. Tshenolo Nkwe is the Tehcnical Director at Hapcore. He brings with him a proven track record of over 24 years in the telecommunications communication industry in Botswana.
His main skill sets include technical strategy formulation, innovative solutions implementation and ICT/Telco project management. Mr. Nkwe is well equipped in project, product, and process management. He possess extensive knowledge on the Telco industries's best practices and culture.
Mr. Nkwe has passion for problem solving and strong engineering principles and possess a magnificent approach towards new challenges and experiences. Mr. Nkwe is also an entrepreneur responsible in multiple startups and running companies.
